The rules for using the SECONDED beta, in plain language. Last updated . These are beta terms: they will change, and the date above moves when they do.
The service.
A paid beta
- A second opinion, paid per check.
- SECONDED is a small paid beta. Your agent sends a question, two AI models from different labs answer it blind, and an answer is delivered only when both agree. When they disagree, no answer is delivered and nothing is charged.
- On test networks today.
- The beta runs on the test networks of its launch chains — Base, Arc and Robinhood Chain; mainnet payments come at launch. While it is a beta, any part of the service can change, pause, or stop.
- No accounts.
- There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log in to. Your agent pays per check, from its wallet, in USDC or USDG. Paying for a check is how you accept these terms.
- Prices.
- Prices, cost estimates and overspend protection live on the pricing page. A disagreement is never charged.
Refunds.
Manual, by receipt ID
- Refunds are manual.
- Nothing refunds itself. Ask us for a refund through the support form and include the receipt ID for the check — your agent can fetch it with the receipt tool in the docs.
- What is refunded.
- A check you paid for and never got an answer to.
- What is not refunded.
- An answer that was already delivered. Delivery completes the check, even when you disagree with the answer.
- Disagreement is not a refund case.
- When the two models disagree, nothing is charged in the first place, so there is nothing to refund.
What an answer is.
And what it is not
- A second check, not a guarantee.
- Every answer is AI-generated: a second opinion on the question your agent sent. Two models agreeing does not make an answer correct — both can make the same mistake — and no check catches every problem.
- No investment advice.
- SECONDED gives no investment advice and no strategy. An answer is not a recommendation to trade, sign, buy, sell, or act.
- Your agent stays yours.
- You are responsible for your agent and for what it does — including what it does with an answer, and what it does against one.
Acceptable use.
Three rules
- Don’t attack the service.
- Do not overload it, probe it, interfere with it, or work around its limits.
- Don’t resell it.
- Do not harvest checks or answers to build or feed a service of your own.
- We may refuse service.
- We may decline or stop serving checks that break these rules.
The beta, as it is.
Plain limits
- Provided as is.
- The beta is provided as is, without warranties, while it is being tested.
- Our responsibility is capped.
- To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for a check is limited to what was paid for that check.
- These terms change.
- These are beta terms, subject to change. A new version is posted here with a new date and applies to checks paid for after it is posted.
